Terminal 5 at O’Hare International Airport is undergoing a $1.2 billion renovation and expansion as part of the O’Hare 21 program. The 3-level, approximately 300,000 square-foot extension to the terminal includes reconfigured aircraft parking, gate additions and relocations, new passenger boarding bridges, expanded hold rooms and concessions, new VIP lounges, and modernization and replacement of the existing baggage handling system.
